Apple gives its iCloud website a much-needed makeover – Times of India
An all-new look for
Apple has given a new look the iCloud website, which brings easy access to all the iCloud Services. iCloud is home to services like Calendar, Contacts, Photos, Notes, Reminders, Mail, Find My and more. Apple is giving the users to customise the homepage of the iCloud website. Users can rearrange them on the basis of the ones they use more. Furthermore, the widget sizes also can be made larger or smaller. Also, users can add different tiles for all of the iCloud services. Do note that this is still in the beta phase but all users who use iCloud can access it now and even customise it.
The idea behind the makeover seems to be give users easy access to the most recent content. For instance, if you have saved a file in Pages very recently, then that particular file will be the first thing you see on the iCloud website — that is if you haven’t customised it. Of if there’s a photo that was backed up to iCloud then that’s the image you will see on the website. It’s a much-needed makeover as accessing iCloud services on the website was a bit of a challenge earlier.
That’s not all as users can now access to information stored in iCloud from non-Apple devices like a Windows PC as well. In addition, users can find helpful information about their iCloud+ plan, and easily access iCloud+ features like Hide My Email and Custom Email Domain right from the web.
