Apple iPhone 13 could have up to 18% bigger batteries than iPhone 12 series – Times of India

The next Apple iPhone, most likely to be called Apple iPhone 13 if the tech giant doesn’t skip a number, could feature 9-18% bigger batteries compared to those in the iPhone 12 models, as per a report by PhoneArena, based on the claims of reliable tipster L0vetodream.
As per the claims, the iPhone 13 would have an 8% bigger battery than its predecessor, the iPhones 13 and 13 Pro would have 9.9% bigger batteries while the iPhone 13 Pro Max would have the maximum battery capacity increase of them all, which is 18%.
And it seems to be needed, considering Apple is bringing out ProMotion displays with the Pro and Pro MAX models, which are likely to cause battery drain in the device. Plus, there is the Always-On display to be factored in too, if it is going to be added. Bigger batteries make for heavier phones too.
TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had earlier claimed that the iPhone 13 series would feature bigger batteries and this claim has just added a bit more weight to Kuo’s claim. Though Apple does not disclose the battery size of the iPhone, the older models have faced issues like lower than expected capacity.
As per another claim, the next Apple iPhone may come in a new colour option: Rose Pink. The claim was made on Twitter by the Peng Store, an online/offline store based out of Nigeria. It was also claimed in the tweet that the phone would launch in December 2021.
