Apple iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max camera comparison: a noticeable upgrade? | 91mobiles.com

Apple recently took the wraps off its iPhone 14 range which includes the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. While the non-Pro models draw a lot of parallels with the iPhone 13 (review), Apple has brought about significant enhancements to the iPhone 14 Pro range, including a faster SoC, a brand-new take on the display notch and improved cameras. In fact, there was a lot of commotion about the handset’s 48MP primary sensor on the interwebs, which is why I decided to pit the cameras on the iPhone 14 Pro Max against the iPhone 13 Pro to get an idea of the latest entrant’s camera capabilities. I’ve covered a ton of different scenarios, including shots captured during the day and at night, as well as images snapped by the phones’ respective wide-angle and telephoto lenses. I’ll have the results linked in the video below, so take a gander.

As is evident by the video, the iPhone 13 Pro is still a stellar camera phone and the device even managed to outshoot the iPhone 14 Pro Max in lowlight scenarios. What’s more, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max did net slightly better results than the iPhone 13 Pro in daylight situations, the handset’s output wasn’t leagues ahead of its predecessor either. We’ll be testing the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s cameras against a slew of high-end Androids soon, so stay tuned to our blog for more in-depth camera comparison articles.
