Apple said the laptop is 12 times faster than the fastest Intel-powered MacBook Air, and its battery life can last up to 18 hours. It also has a 1080p camera for video calls, and a three-mic array to pick up your voice. For audio playback, it comes with six speakers for Spatial Audio.
Apple claimed that the new MacBook Air will be the best 15-inch laptop on the market, with twice the performance and brightness of 15-inch Windows laptops, while also delivering 50-percent better battery life.
The 15-inch MacBook Air is launching on Tuesday, June 13, and you can order it today. The price starts at $1299, or $1199 for Education. It comes in four colors, including Midnight and Starlight. The current 13-inch MacBook Air is also getting a price drop, now starting at $1099.
