Apple says that the design of the new Sport band has been “inspired by the strength and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community.”

The new 2023 Pride band from Apple comes in two sizes 41mm and 45mm priced at Rs 4,500. Customers can purchase the Pride band from Apple.in starting today (May 24). The Pride Edition Sport Band is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, and is compatible with Apple Watch Series 3 and later.
Pride band design
Apple mentions that the Pride band design features the traditional pride flag rainbow colors, along with five additional colors. These extra colors hold significant meaning, with black and brown representing the Black and Latinx communities, as well as individuals affected by or lost to HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, shades of light blue, pink, and white are included to symbolize transgender and non-binary individuals.

Along with the new Pride band the company also introduced the new Pride watch face. The new watch face was released with the rollout of watchOS 9.5 recently. According to Apple, the watch face and wallpaper have been designed to celebrate the unity and solidarity of the LGBTQ+ community. The watch face showcases vibrant shapes that seemingly flow from the band onto the display, responding to the user’s wrist movements and taps on the screen. On the other hand, the wallpaper is an artistic representation of the current year’s Pride design, dynamically shifting as the user unlocks their iPhone. These features aim to capture the dynamic spirit and liveliness of the LGBTQ+ community’s collective strength and support.
