Asus launches MD100 Marshmallow mouse with carrying strap at Rs 1,499 – Times of India

Taiwanese tech giant Asus has launched the MD100 Marshmallow mouse in India at a price point of Rs 1,499. The mouse comes in four colour options for the cover which are available in two different sets: The Quite Blue set which consists of Quite Blue and Solar Blue covers and the Lilac Mist Purple set which includes the Lilac Mist Purple and Brave Green covers..The mouse will be available for purchase online on Flipkart and ASUS E-shop, as well as at offline stores – AES and ROG stores– from August 5..
The MD100 ASUS Marshmallow Mouse comes with a mouse strap to help it carry around safely. As per Asus, the lifespan of this mouse is more than three times that of a regular office mouse. The company claims that with the mouse’s built-in power-saving technology, a single battery can last for a year.
Asus also claims that the product is designed to last 10 million clicks with less than 20 decibels of noise with every click.
As per Asus, the mouse feet are made of 100% PTFE for a smooth operation over hard surfaces. Its surface is covered with Antibacterial Guard treatment which inhibits the growth of bacteria by more than 99% over a 24-hour period, claims Asus.
The MD100 MarshMallow mouse comes with a magnetic cover with interchangeable coloured tops to switch its looks. Additionally, it offers dual-mode connectivity that supports both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth.
