Asus ROG Ally to Launch on July 12, Pricing Details Revealed
Following much speculation and teases, Asus has finally revealed the launch date of the much-anticipated ROG Ally handheld gaming console.
The gaming giants revealed that the AMD Ryzen Z1 processor variant of the console, which launched globally earlier this month, will now be available in India from July 12. The new handheld console features a 7-inch FHD IPS display, with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of M.2 SSD storage. To know more about the device, check out IGN’s review of the ROG Ally.
The company announced that the console will be available to purchase at Asus Exclusive Stores, Asus eShop, and Flipkart.
Furthermore, the console will also be sold on Flipkart on July 7, as part of a flash sale, which will only be held for a day.
Regarding the price, the console will be sold at ₹69,990, which roughly amounts to $850. This is $150 more than the $699 selling price of the ROG Ally AMD Ryzen 1 processor variant in the United States.
The July 12 launch of the ROG Ally handheld console in India comes with a fair bit of promo offers to go along with it. Asus has stated that the first 200 customers purchasing the console from its exclusive stores and the Asus eShop will receive a ROG Ally case worth ₹2000 for free. To redeem this offer, interested buyers can head over to the official Asus promo website.
