Asus ROG Ally with Ryzen Z1 May Launch Soon in India As We Get Details About International Warranty and More
Asus India is geared up to launch its much anticipated hand-held gaming console, ROG Ally in the market. The company is currently hosting product brefings for media across the country ahead of the launch on July 12, 2023. Asus India answered queries from the press revealing some new information about the upcoming gaming hand-held.
As part of the information, the company revealed that Asus ROG Ally will receive international support for all units sold in India. Asus ROG Ally buyers across India will receive all forms of international customer support for their consoles.
Asus ROG Ally Availability in India
Furthermore, Asus India also noted that the ROG Ally will be available at all Republic of Gamers (ROG) stores in India, Interested buyers can head to the ROG store closest to their place to experience the demo of the handheld gaming console. Not only that, each ROG store will also have units in stock ready for purchase.
Recently, Stuff India’s Khumail Thakur tweeted that the Asus ROG Ally will initially have 2,500 units available in India for launch. He added that the company will bring in more units based on customer demand in the country. He also claimed that it will take around 7 days for Asus India to fetch more units to address the demand.
ROG Ally Z1 Release Date in India
Asus India will launch the ROG Ally on July 12 with AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU, the top-tier model of the handheld console. This version comes with 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 storage. Internationally, the company has launched another variant of Ally with lower end hardware. Both of these models carry similar specs except for the CPU. The ROG Ally with Z1 Extreme CPU is the higher-end model and features a significantly more powerful CPU at the heart of this console.
The release date for ROG Ally with Ryzen Z1 is currently not known as the company is only launching the Z1 Extreme variant. This higher end variant is also more expensive than the base model of the console. Asus India said they may look to launch the Z1 variant soon after checking the customer demand for a cheaper variant in India.
