Asus ROG Phone 6 launch date revealed: Details inside – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Asus is all set to launch its flagship smartphone — Asus ROG Phone . Asus has confirmed that it will launch the next-generation gaming smartphone on July 5 at an online launch event. The event will begin at 8PM Taipei time (5:30 PM IST). The company has also revealed that it will also launch some new gaming accessories and gaming headphones with the smartphone.
Asus ROG Phone 6 will be the first smartphone to pack the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The company has just revealed the launch date and has not shed any light on its specifications. However, the upcoming gaming smartphone is said to pack improved cooling, a better camera and up to 65W fast charging support.
On the other hand, Xiaomi is also expected to launch its flagship — Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The company is said to launch the smartphone in July with the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The handset is expected to feature a 200MP camera.
For those unaware, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 features the Cortex-X2 prime core clocked at up to 3.2GHz. And the other two clusters are 3x Cortex-A710 performance cores running at a frequency of up to 2.8GHz and 4x Cortex-A510 cores with a clock speed of up to 1.8GHz. Also, this one is based on TSMC’s 4nm node process.
Recently, an online report revealed that Xiaomi may launch the Redmi K50 Ultra smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. As per leakster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Redmi K50 Ultra smartphone. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The rumour may turn true as the company has already partnered with Qualcomm.
