The upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 7 runs on a CPU with the identifier “ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3406 revision 0″, which indicates the presence of the top-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor from the house of Qualcomm. The processor has a max clock of 3.19GHz and features one primary core, four performance cores, and three efficiency cores. This CPU is paired to the Adreno 740 GPU and 16GB of RAM and operates on Android 13 out of the box. 

The ASUS ROG Phone 7 with the above hardware under the hood, has managed to score 1,958 points on the single-core test and 5,238 on the multi-core test. It is also noteworthy that the Indian variant gets the model number AI2205_C, whereas the global variant that was recently spotted on Geekbench carried the model number AI2205_A. The global variant of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 also performed slightly better with a single core score of 2,022 points and a multi-core score of 5,719 points.

The ASUS ROG Phone 7 features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and could get up to 256GB of storage. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 is also expected to get an AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The device is also expected to get specialised cooling hardware to keep temperatures in check. The Chinese variant is expected to get 65W fast charging support according to latest certification documents that have been leaked.
