BenQ has unveiled its latest Type-C (with power delivery) 4K DesignVue Monitors – PD2705U and PD3205U. The duo are claimed to be professional color accurate designer monitors offering great detail and stunning image clarity to designers. The new monitors come in 27inch and 32inch sizes and offer 4K (3840×2160, UHD) resolution with variable refresh rate up to 60hz with AMD FreeSync Technology. A differentiating feature is said to be the seamless connectivity that the printers offer with Macs.
Benq PD2705U and PD3205U monitors price and availability
PD2705U & PD3205U is the latest addition to PD series which includes AQCOLOR Technology. Benq PD2705U and PD3205U are available on Amazon at a price of Rs 49,990 and Rs 64,990. It is also available at the leading retail outlets and corporate partners across India. BenQ monitors come with three years of warranty.
BenQ’s PD2705U & PD3205U monitors’ features
BenQ’s PD2705U & PD3205U offers Picture in Picture and Picture by Picture mode. These functions enable users to work with two different computers, and both screens can be displayed on the monitor simultaneously. The monitors are equipped with Multiple Display Color Modes with 350 nits HDR and also feature Darkroom mode, CAD/CAM mode and Animation mode, all aimed at enhancing accurate color visuals. In addition to all this, these monitors boast of a USB-C with 65W & 90W Power Delivery from PD2705U & PD3205U respectively with a new Hotkey Puck G2.
BenQ PD2705U and PD3205U’s connectivity options include HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4 and USB Type C. The 4K UHD resolution along with 99% sRGB color gamut coverage and Display HDR 10 with Calman, Solidworks and Pantone Verification ensures awe-inspiring clarity, dynamic range with detailed images/videos, be it movies or any other creative task. The HDR 10 technology involves smart High Dynamic Range, focusing on greater variation in the light output levels, which delivers wider range of colors. This is said to offer accuracy and balance in brighter whites, and darker blacks.
KVM switch helps in reducing clutter on the desk as it allows users to control two PC systems via one set of keyboard and mouse. Hotkey Puck G2 is an addition to the new DesignVue monitors PD2705U & PD3205U for easy access to the monitor menu with rotating dial and preset modes.
