BGMI Rising Is Now Live; Find Out When and Where To Watch and Other Details

BGMI Rising went live today on the official YouTube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India. It is essentially a tournament, featuring 64 invited teams, comprising of some of the most popular BGMI pro players of India. But first, let’s check out the prize pool.
Prize Pool
BGMI Rising has a total prize pool of Rs 10,00,000. The team which comes out at the top at the end of the tournament will get to bag the first prize of Rs 2,50,000; the team ranking second will win Rs 1,50,000; while rank 3 will get Rs 1,00,000. Other than the top three prizes, 6 special prizes of Rs 50,000 each will also be distributed for titles like MVP, Captain Cool, etc. Special prizes of Rs 1,00,000 have also been reserved for whoever wins the titles of “Reelster” and “Best Dance Group”.
Format and Schedule
BGMI Rising has 64 teams who have been invited to participate in the tournament. Day 1 and Day 2, that June 1 and June 2, will have all 64 of the teams play against each other in Round 1. The 64 teams have been divided into four groups and matches have been scheduled for them in Erangel and Sanhok. Additionally, we will also get to see Pan Fights where Captains of the different teams will face each other off in two matches. At the end of Round 1, based on the cumulative scores of Day 1 and Day 2, only 32 teams will qualify onto Round 2.
Round 2, which is to take place on Saturday, June 3, will give us the top 16 teams who will see each other off on Sunday, June 4th’s Grand Finals.
Participating Teams
As Krafton mentions, we will get to see 64 star studded teams. BGMI is played in teams of four, where each has a captain. All the teams have now been introduced to us, and they include the likes of Team Mortal, Team Payal, Team Ghatak, Team Scout, Team Jonathan, and Team Vaadhiyaar, to name a few. They’ve all been sorted into Groups A, B, C, and D. Check out all the teams participating in the ongoing BGMI Rising.
BGMI Rising Talent Reveal
Celebrity casters Ocean, Ankiibot, Mazys and Spero will be conducting the tournament. We’ll also get to hear and know more about their journeys with BGMI, but that’s not all. BGMI pros will be engaging in fun sessions with the casters in between matches and sharing their special and favourite moments with the battle royale over the years. All in all, this is going to be a celebration, while bringing back the competitive fervor that BGMI has always been about in Indian Esports.
