Microsoft launched the new Bing in February and the company said it heard from many corporate customers who want their organisations to use new AI tools. However, as per Microsoft, they are concerned that their companies’ data will not be protected.
Bing Chat Enterprise: What users will get
According to Microsoft, Bing Chat Enterprise will give organisations AI-powered chat for work with commercial data protection. “What goes in – and comes out – remains protected, giving commercial customers managed access to better answers, greater efficiency and new ways to be creative,” said the company in a blog post. Organisations who want to adopt AI want to be assured that their data is protected. “With Bing Chat Enterprise, user and business data are protected and will not leak outside the organization. Chat data is not saved, and Microsoft has no eyes-on access – which means no one can view your data,” said Microsoft.
Furthermore, none of the data is used to to train the models. “Whether researching industry insights, analysing data, or looking for inspiration, Bing Chat Enterprise gives people access to better answers, greater efficiency and new ways to be creative,” said Microsoft.
Bing Chat Enterprise will start rolling out today in preview to organisations licensed for Microsoft 365 E5, E3, Business Premium and Business Standard at no additional cost. Microsoft said that it will also make Bing Chat Enterprise available as a stand-alone subscription in the future for $5 per user, per month.
