Black Shark 6 Series Key Specs Reveals Snapdragon8 Gen2
In search of gold, we came across Xiaomi Black Shark 6 Series specifications. The upcoming gaming series from Xiaomi is in the works and is a direct successor to the Black Shark 5 Series (of course).
Xiaomi Black Shark 6 Series Specs Leaked
According to the latest information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station (via Weibo), the gaming phone is likely to get a 2K resolution on its display with a centrally aligned punch-hole cut-out for the selfie shooter. It is likely an OLED panel with a high refresh rate, probably 144Hz or even 165Hz since we saw the latter on Black Shark 5 Pro.
Digging further, there’s a sureshot assumption that both the models – vanilla and Pro, will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC as the powerful beast. A 5,000mAh battery can be seen powering the device paired alongside 120W fast charging that will give you a day’s worth of charge in mere minutes. Of course, that’s if you aren’t gaming since it is a sweat-drenching task and given the performance at stake, the power consumption is excitingly high.
DCS further added that an IMX686 (probably 64MP) will get the primary position at the back. It will be joined by an ultrawide and a macro snapper for a triple-camera setup. One of the interesting specs to note down is the strongest active cooling system. A large sound chamber with symmetrical double speakers will reprise its focal point offering an immersive audio experience.
The final piece of information that DCS revealed is the use of ceramic body onboard the Shark 6 Series.
Xiaomi Black Shark 6 Pricing and Launch
Xiaomi Black Shark 6 Series comprises at least two devices i.e. Black Shark 6 and Black Shark 6 Pro. If you reference last year’s releases, then you have a Black Shark 6 RS variant although it will be limited to China to the best of our knowledge.
The last two generations of Black Shark devices arrived in March in their respective years. If that’s something Xiaomi is following, the Black Shark 6 Series can be anticipated to arrive in China in March, although you need to take it with a pinch of salt. The series usually arrives globally in a few months after marking its Chinese release.
