Bollywood superstar Tiger Shroff has stepped foot into the esports world as an investor. As part of this move, he has invested in Indian esports organization, Revenant Esports. However, Revenant Esports has not shared details around the amount of investment or the valuation of the organization.
Tiger Shroff invests in Revenant Esports; details
As per the press release from Revenant, the investment will help the team to bolster its squads of esports players, content creators, and more. The company currently has a foothold in games like BGMI, Valorant, Brawl Stars, Apex Legends, Pokemon Unite, and more.
“Everyone is well aware of his [Tiger Shroff] fondness for gaming and connect with the millennial and Gen Z audience,” said Rohit Jagasia, CEO and Founder of Revenant Esports. Jagasia also added, “In Revenant he has the perfect platform to be more actively involved with the Indian gaming community.”
“Revenant Esports is one of the biggest names of the esports landscape in India and I am delighted to be a part of it,” said Tiger Shroff on his involvement in the professional gaming space.
Tiger has stated that his vision for the team, paired with Jagasia’s expert knowledge in the sector will help Revenant soar new heights. He also hopes to bring exposure to the sector and drive its growth with Revenant at the forefront.
Currently, Revenant is one of the most popular esports teams in India, featuring some of the country’s best content creators and esports players. Recently, the organization signed three new content creators in Bitty, Ayush Is Live, and Emperor Plays.
Prior to becoming an investor of Revenant Esports, Shroff was the face of the franchise-based league, ESports Premier League (ESPL). Alongside his love for gaming, the Heropanti actor is also known for his love of fitness and MMA.
