This comes as the next chapter of Boruto is about to be released worldwide. Spoilers of the manga have already been out, and the news of the potential hiatus has caused a stir in the community.
It is important to note that this information has not yet been confirmed by Boruto creator Masashi Kishimoto or the manga’s publisher, Shueisha.
The Chapter 80 as seen in the spoilers did mention “The Story Enters a New Chapter.” This could likely point towards a timeskip in the upcoming Chapter 81.
Fans have been anticipating a hiatus for the manga series, especially since the anime adaptation confirmed its own break last month. This raises concern for fans who were expecting the anime to return by August 2023, as the TV hiatus was meant to give the manga enough time to get ahead. If the manga goes on a hiatus until August, the anime may also be forced to extend its break to wait for more available content.
