Bungie Addresses Destiny 2 Player Complaints About the Abhorrent Loot in Master Vow of the Disciple
Destiny 2 recently unveiled Master Vow of the Disciple, which gives players the ultimate challenge of tackling the game’s hardest PvE activity with an even higher difficulty.
With a tougher outing for players in the Master difficulty, the Destiny 2 community expected huge things from the developers at Bungie, with regards to the reward they will earn upon completing it. However, following the activity’s release, players have been disheartened by the developers’ approach.
Upon completing the normal Vow of the Disciple Raid, players hold a chance to earn Deepsight Resonance weapons, which allows them to craft God Rolls using Enhanced Perks, that can help them level up in both PvP and PvE aspects of the game.
However, as of right now, players can’t do the same with the Adept weapons they have earned for completing the tougher assignment in the Master difficulty of Vow of the Disciple. Instead, they only have access to four perk slots, and no room for upgradation with Enhanced perks, even though they can complete Deepsight Resonance.
Commented on an alternate thread, but posting here too:
This is a bug, team is working on a fix. Once we have more info, we’ll let y’all know.

With this messy situation at hand, it’s much better for players to craft God Rolls of a particular weapon by earning them in the Normal Raid, instead of getting the Adept version by attempting the tougher Master Raid.
However, it didn’t take long for the developers at Bungie to respond about the problem, as Destiny 2 Community Manager dmg04 revealed that the team has found the bug, and they’re currently working on a fix that will release in a future patch. While we haven’t received a much needed positive update from the developers, fans are hopeful about the future, even though the bug has prevented them from enjoying Master Vow of the Disciple to the fullest.
It’s been less than 12 hours. No updates.
We’re passing the feedback up to the team.

For now, it seems like players might want to hold on to their plans of attempting the Master Raid, as the loot just ain’t good enough to cop right now. Even though Master Vow of the Disciple hasn’t had the brightest of starts, fans are hopeful that things will change sooner than later.
