Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play Won’t Arrive Before 2023; UI to get a Revamp After Warzone 2.0 launch and More

According to their latest post on Twitter, Ranked Play in Modern Warfare 2 has been confirmed to arrive by 2023. They will be working with their partners to provide Competitive game modes, Ranked Skill Divisions, Visible Skill Ratings, Top 250 Leaderboard, and Competitive rewards along with it.

At the same time, Treyarch has also announced some details about Black Ops: Cold War League Play and Vanguard Ranked Play game modes. As they move forward towards Ranked Play for Modern Warfare 2, the other game modes will be retired by November 22, 2022.

In other news, it seems the much hated UI of Modern Warfare 2 is getting a revamp. According to a report by WhatIfGaming, Infinity Ward has scheduled a “major redesign and rebrand” of the Call of Duty UI/UX systems. The change can be expected to be executed when Warzone 2.0 is launched.
