Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Pre-Orders Available for iOS Users; Modern Warfare 2 Rumored to Receive Rocket League-Esque Gamemode

iOS Call of Duty fans rejoice! as Warzone Mobile heads to the App Store for pre-orders.

Following 25 million pre-registrations through Google Play on Android devices, iOS users can now pre-order the long-awaited Mobile version of the hit Battle Royale title.

Interested players should definitely pre-register on either platform, as the developers will offer cool milestone rewards when the game launches globally next year. The list of rewards features the following items:

  • “Ghost — Condemned” Operator Skin
  • “Prince of Hell” X12 Weapon Blueprint
  • “Archfiend” M4 Weapon Blueprint
  • “Dark Familiar” Emblem
  • “Foe’s Flame” Vinyl

The developers have further revealed that another milestone reward will be unveiled, when the game reaches 35 million pre-registrations.

On the other side, Call of Duty fans now have both Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 in possession to enjoy on their console and PC, and judging by a new leak, players might receive something entirely different with the latter.

According to a tweet from dataminer CODSploitzImgz, Modern Warfare 2 might receive a Rocket League-inspired gamemode. The leaked image, which has now been hit with a copyright claim, features players using the game’s ATVs to score goals in the opposing team’s nets.

The new gamemode titled “CODball” might arrive just in time for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, which starts on November 20. With players like Neymar Jr., Paul Pogba and Lionel Messi joining as operators, CODball will definitely some playful fun between the all-out action of Modern Warfare 2.
