Capcom Reveals Its Top 10 Best-Selling Games

Capcom celebrated its 40th anniversary with the launch of the Capcom Town website on June 12. This was followed by the Capcom Showcase 2023, as a part of the Summer Game Fest, that brought with reveals of upcoming titles. It’s time to take a look back at the legacy of Capcom as the company recently updated its list of Platinum titles.

Capcom’s Platinum Titles are the list of games that Capcom considers to be its hits. According to the company, “In the home video game market, sales of more than one million units is the generally accepted standard for a major hit.” According to its official website, Capcom “stands alone in the video game industry” having sold more than 1 million units for over 100 titles.

Capcom’s Platinum Titles lists and ranks its hit titles by sales volume. As of now, the 2018 game Monster Hunter: World is leading the list, followed by Monster Hunter Rise, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Here’s the list of the titles and their ranks according to the units sold.
