CD Projekt Red: Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Expansion to be Showcased at Summer Games Fest and More

We’re just days away from the 2023 edition of the Summer Game Fest, which is scheduled to take place on June 8 in Los Angeles at the YouTube theatre. Thanks to CD Projekt Red’s Q1 2023 Financial Report we now know that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion will be showcased at the event.

The Q1 summary has been provided through a new YouTube video by CD Projekt Red. The video first talks about how the main efforts of the team have gone towards developing and perfecting this expansion for the game. We were also told that CD Projekt Red is now ready to launch the marketing campaign for the game and the first stop for that is none other than the Summer Game Fest: Play Days in Los Angeles, happening this June. Moreover, the team has also prepared “numerous follow-on events around the world”.

The Witcher Franchise Sells Over 75 Million Copies

On the topic of CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 3 has managed to hit a staggering milestone in recent days. The Polish studio revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has sold over 50 million copies in its lifetime, making it one of top ten best-selling video games in history. Furthermore, if Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 are added to the mix then the trilogy has managed to sell 75 million copies to date.
