ChatGPT Plus Gets PDF Analysis As A Beta Feature – Smartprix
OpenAI has launched a new feature for ChatGPT, wherein the chatbot can go through uploaded PDFs and answer questions. Per several reports, the feature is currently available for ChatGPT Plus subscribers who pay $20 monthly, implying that it is a GPT-4 exclusive.
ChatGPT Can Now Analyse Text Files
ChatGPT Plus can now analyze and draw information from PDFs, data files, or other documents. In other words, users from different walks of life, including students, professionals, and researchers, can upload documents and ask related questions. For instance, students can upload a document and ask the chatbot to summarize it. Similarly, professionals and researchers can use this capability to review press releases, papers, and copies of website articles to look for specific citations.
Other Features Include Seamless Access To Image Generation
Other new features include access to browsing, advanced data analysis, and image generation via DALL-E, all without switching modes. These work without changing chats, which means that users can upload an image in a conversation, ask ChatGPT to create another creative version of the image, add another photo to the chat, and ask the AI bot to add elements from the second image to the first.
Once a file is uploaded, whether a document or an image, the chatbot takes a few moments before it starts working. For data files, it can also generate graphs and other forms of visualization. These features look similar to those made available with ChatGPT Enterprise in August 2023. However, they are now accessible to ChatGPT Plus users.
