The year 2023 has been an exciting one for smartphone enthusiasts with several impressive releases already hitting the market. However, the excitement for the upcoming months should be even greater as some of the most innovative smartphones are yet to be unveiled. 

Here are the five upcoming smartphones which will launch in 2023.

1. Google Pixel Fold

Google Pixel Fold has been creating a buzz on the internet and it is expected that this foldable device will launch in Google’s I/O Conference event. Some of the specifications of Google’s first foldable device that has been leaked so far are:

It is rumoured to feature a 5.8-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch foldable display. 

The Google Pixel Fold could be powered by a Google Tensor G2 chipset.

The smartphone might be priced around ₹1,40,000.

Google Pixel 7a will be the affordable version of the Google Pixel 7 series just like Pixel 6a. It is also expected to launch in the Google I/O Conference event in May. We have some idea of its specifications thanks to leaks and rumours.

The Google Pixel 7a could feature a 6.1-inch OLED display which will support HDR and 90Hz refresh rate.

The phone is expected to be equipped with Tensor G2 chip and it will reportedly run on Android 13 OS. It will reportedly be backed with a 4500mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging support.

It is rumoured to have a dual camera setup on the back holding a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, the smartphone might come with an 8-megapixel camera. 

3. OnePlus Nord 3

The OnePlus Nord 3 could be the next offering from the company after the OnePlus Pad. It will be the successor of OnePlus Nord 2 and is expected to come with improved features and 5G connectivity. Here are its likely specs.

The OnePlus Nord 3 might come with a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

A MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset might be found in the OnePlus Nord 3 and it will reportedly run on OxygenOS 13. A 5000mAh battery might be integrated in the smartphone.

The smartphone will reportedly boast a triple camera setup on the back holding a 50-megapixel primary camera with two more sensors. On the front, it could offer a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

4. Realme 11 Pro

Realme 11 Pro might launch in May. The Realme 11 Pro will fall under the Realme 11 series with two more smartphones. Here are the rumoured specs of the smartphone:

The Realme 11 Pro will reportedly be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor.

It might be packed with a 5000mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging support.

This smartphone is rumoured to sport a 108-megapixel primary camera.

5. Realme 11 Pro+

Realme 11 Pro Plus is also expected to launch along with Realme 11 Pro in May. The company has teased the smartphone with a circular camera and rest, as usual from leaks:

The Realme 11 Pro Plus will reportedly also come with MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor and it could be back with 5000mAh battery. This phone is expected to come in two different variants for fast charging: 80-watt and 100-watt.

In terms of camera, the smartphone might feature a 200-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 2-megapixel sensor.
