Chelsea close in on Kounde, Arsenal enquire for Lautaro – your transfer questions answered
Manchester United are the undisputed winners of the transfer market so far this window having moved to agree two marquee additions quickly in the form of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. Yet there’s a sense Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not done yet and more arrivals could follow at Old Trafford once the World Cup winner’s £34million from Real Madrid has been finalised.
Yet he is not the only French international centre-back set to move to England in the coming weeks.
It appears Sevilla’s Jules Kounde is edging closer to a move to Chelsea with a potential swap deal now under discussion.
Kurt Zouma’s name has reportedly cropped up during negotiations between the two clubs and there is confidence a deal can be struck in the near future.
But is Kounde what Chelsea need and does his arrival all but end Thomas Tuchel’s chances of landing Erling Haaland this summer? Ask our reporter Ryan Taylor in the comments section below…
Arsenal are also making moves in the background and they are said to have reportedly enquired for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
Hector Bellerin could potentially head the other way to the San Siro with his agent keen to broker a move for his client.
Liverpool are also expected to be active in the coming weeks having gone quiet since the arrival of Ibrahima Konate.
Could Jarrod Bowen be a surprise addition for Jurgen Klopp or is Renato Sanches heading to Anfield? You can also discuss the Reds and their chances of bringing in new faces below with Ryan.

The England captain is expected to be the subject of another offer from Manchester City in the coming weeks but the Premier League champions are also after Jack Grealish.
Talks are said to be ongoing between City and Aston Villa over a deal that could be worth up to £100million.
To fund both deals, City will have to offload a number of players meaning Pep Guardiola could be set to face some tough decisions, particularly when his forward line is concerned.
So who could leave? If you have questions about City or your club, fire away in the comments section to Ryan and he’ll get back to you between now and 3pm, when the Q&A will close.
