Comic Con Mumbai 2023 Concludes With Bollywood Stars Among Fans Like Siddhant Chaturvedi, Neha Dhupia, More; Here Is a Recap
For two days, Mumbaikars flocked to Jio World Center for the long-awaited return of Comic-Con. The popular convention returned to City of Dreams with quite fervor, as gaming and pop culture fans met up to celebrate an event unlike any other.
The list of attendees and guests for Comic-Con Mumbai 2023 was stacked, as the who’s who of Bollywood made their presence felt. This includes actors like Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Prajakta Koli, Yashaswini Dayama, Mithila Palkar and more. Other than that, the likes of Marvel and DC comics artist Yanick Paquette and Archies artist Dan Parent greeted comic book fans.
The convention was filled with activities of all kinds. Laptop manufacturer Lenovo was part of the event alongside computing giants like Intel and Microsoft Windows to show off its latest products. Other than that, gaming publishers like Ubisoft were also present to highlight their latest titles.
On the anime and manga side of things, there was never a moment of silence in the Crunchyroll and Viz Media sections, as fans were busy checking out the latest offerings. Furthermore, Bandai Namco also had its fair share of attention as fans turned up to purchase figurines of their favorite BTS or anime characters.
When it comes to the comic book side of things, Holy Cow Entertainment, Bullseye Press, and Yali Dream Creations were also part of the action along with the likes of Indusverse, Bakarmax, and more.
Besides all the mainstream companies and individuals, the Main Stage never stopped entertaining the audiences. Fans got to see acts from the likes of Kapow, Nishant Suri, Rohan Joshi, Sahil Shah, Geek Fruit and Shia and Zero Chill.
Both days of the show ended with some cosplay fun, as fans took to the stage to show off their outfits. In the end, the event lived up to its billing, as we now begin the countdown for the next iteration.
