Creed 4 Will Be Directed by Michael B. Jordan
While Creed 4 has previously been confirmed to be on its way, producer Irwin Winkler has revealed that Michael B. Jordan, Adonis Creed himself, will be returning to direct the next film in the franchise.
Winkler shared the news at Deadline Contenders after he was asked if Jordan would be directing once again after making his directorial debut with Creed 3. He answered with a smile, “I’m not supposed to say… but he will be.”

“We’re planning to do Creed 4, it’s in the works,” Winker also said. “We think we have a really good story. A really good plot. And we’re hoping to… well we got a little delay because of the strike like everybody else did… but probably a year from now we’ll go into pre-production.”
While we don’t know anything else about the film, Jordan confirmed to IGN back in February 2023 ahead of Creed 3 that Creed 4 is “for sure” on its way alongside possible spinoffs.
“I just want to expand the Creed-verse within reason, but definitely expect other things around Creed for sure,” Jordan told IGN.
In our review of Creed 3, we said that while it “may not stray too far from the very familiar format of a Rocky movie, seeing Creed truly begin a legacy of his own apart from Rocky Balboa is an exciting chapter for the series.”
