Crooks Named Mid-South Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week

Bowling Green, Ky. – UPIKE’s Renee Crooks has been named Mid-South Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

• Crooks claimed the title in her collegiate debut at the Battle of Chariot Run this weekend.
• The freshman carded an 18-hole score of 153 (+9) to win the event by six strokes.
• Her 76 (+4) on Sunday was the lowest round score in the tournament.
• Crooks clubbed four birdies in the event to lead the field.
• Her performance helped the Bears to a 70 stroke win in the three team competition.
• This is Crooks first weekly honor of her career.
