Cryptic Tweet Suggests Gambit Might Be Revamped with Destiny 2’s Witch Queen DLC

Bungie’s community manager recently replied to a comment with a emoji that could hint towards a major tweak with the upcoming Witch Queen DLC for Destiny 2.

Gambit has been neglected for a while now and there have been multiple instances where the players have expressed their frustration. The current season saw a lot of experimentation with Trials of Osiris where even though the developers haven’t hit the right cord, it was refreshing to see some changes being made. This put Gambit into the spotlight even more considering it has been thoroughly overlooked. However, all that could change very soon.

In response to a disgruntled fan’s tweet asking to revamp Gambit, community manager, Cozmo, posted a cryptic response with a single emoji that is possibly great news for the players.

The reason this is something to ponder upon is because another community manager recently responded with the same cryptic tweet to some other fans asking for some changes to be made. Clearly, there is something in store for Gambit but we’re not sure what exactly is going to happen.

Bungie has already confirmed that this is the year Gambit receives a rework, but the timeline for the same isn’t set. Clearly, this update changes things or at least speeds up the timeline in some way.

Gambit is a great band unique blend of PvP and PvE modes, but is currently only used by players to get their seasonal challenges done so they can get XP and Bright Dust. There is so much potential Gambit has that will definitely be evident once it is revamped.

The Witch Queen DLC Releases on February 22, 2022.
