Dead by Daylight Mobile is currently inaccessible for players in India. Developers will share further updates about the future of the game in the future.
The mobile adaptation of the Behaviour Interactive-developed title sees players participating in 4v1 multiplayer mode. The players either play as a survivor or the killer chasing the survivors. Inspired by slasher films, Dead by Daylight Mobile features several perks and skills to boost up your killer or survivor avatar. While the aim of the game for the killer is to hunt down all the survivors, the rest must band together to escape from the eerie killer and its environment.
Behaviour Interactive assigned China-based game developer NetEase with the task of creating Dead by Daylight Mobile. It is possible that the title might be facing a situation like that of other banned titles in India such as PUBG Mobile and BGMI. While the former was banned on September 2, 2020, its replacement BGMI was suspended on July 28. Several reports have suggested that the latter could make a return with several restrictions provided by the government.
IGN India has contacted the developers of Dead by Daylight Mobile and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for more details around this move. We will update this piece if and when we get a response from the Government of India and/or NetEase.
