Dead Island 2 PC system requirements
Dead Island 2 has been revealed to have some high requirements to be able to play the game on PC. While the storage requirement isn’t as high at 70 GB, you would need a high-end system if you want to play the game in high or ultra settings. Dambuster Studios suggests a CPU with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700K or an Intel core i5 12600 KF, and an Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU to play the game in 1440p in 60 FPS. For 4K 60 FPS, you’ll require an AMD Ryzen 9 or Intel i7 13th gen processor, along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090.
Dead Island 2 will have a multiplayer mode
Dambuster Studios has also revealed that Dead Island 2 will support DirectX 12, AMD FSR2 and AMD RCAS, when it comes to graphics. HUD elements like player health & status, compass, quest objective information, etc, are customisable. The developers have also informed that the game will have a multiplayer mode with a co-op story for up to 3 players, but cross-play won’t be supported.
Dead Island 2 launches on April 21, 2023 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store. The game can now be pre-ordered on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store and Epic Games for redeemable pre-order bonuses.
