Deadpool 3 Bringing Back Fan-Favorite Character From Deadpool 2
Rob Delaney, who arguably played the funniest character in Deadpool 2, is returning for Deadpool 3.
In a new report from Deadline, the outlet confirmed that Rob Delaney has closed a deal to return for a third Deadpool film. If you’re unfamiliar with Delaney’s character from Deadpool 2, the actor plays Peter, a member of the X-Force despite having no mutant powers.
But what Peter lacks in superpowers and mutant abilities, he makes up for in comedic relief. Delaney’s performance in the second film is a real highlight of Deadpool 2. Even before the release of the film, it was revealed Peter had a secret Twitter account, where the fictional character shared information on his life, including the fact that he is a fan of the sitcom Friends and he is married to a woman named Susan.
Outside of Delaney, other cast members returning for Deadpool 3 include Stefan Kapicic and Morena Baccarin, who will reprise their roles as Colossus and Vanessa, respectively. In addition, Ryan Reynolds will return as the titular character, while actor Hugh Jackman is confirmed to star in the film as Wolverine, though this portrayal of Wolverine is expected to be a “divergence” from the character we have seen before. (Perhaps we will finally see Wolverine wear his yellow suit!)

Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2024. And unlike the previous two films, it will be the first film made under the MCU banner (but it will still retain its R-rating).
