Deadpool 3 Is Bringing Back Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio

Deadpool 3 has expanded its cast, with Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna reprising their roles as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio for the upcoming Marvel threequel.

According to Deadline, Hildebrand and Kutsuna have now closed deals to return for Deadpool 3. Hildebrand reprises her role as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a mutant who can generate nuclear explosions from her body, while Kutsuna plays her girlfriend Yukio, a Japanese mutant who is highly skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat.

They were both last seen together in 2018’s Deadpool sequel and even showed up in one of the movie’s three mid-credits scenes, where they were working on fixing Cable’s time-travel device so that Deadpool could go back in time to prevent his beloved Vanessa from being killed.

Other cast members returning for Deadpool 3 include Stefan Kapicic and Morena Baccarin, who will reprise their roles as Colossus and Vanessa, respectively, alongside Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams, who will be back on our screens as their respective characters, Dopinder and Blind AI.

In addition, Ryan Reynolds will return as the titular character, and Rob Delaney will be back as Peter, while actor Hugh Jackman is confirmed to star in the movie as Wolverine, though this portrayal of Wolverine is expected to be a “divergence” from the character we have seen before.

Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2024, which puts it in the MCU’s Phase 5. Unlike the previous two movies, it will be the first film made under the MCU banner but it will still retain its R-rating.
