Dell Launches Alienware m15 R7 in India Powered By AMD Ryzen 6000 H Series Processors, All You Need to Know

Dell Technologies and Alienware announced on October 18 that its newest 15-inch laptop – the Alienware m15 R7 – has launched in India. The AMD edition of the laptop is equipped with AMD Ryzen 6000 H series processors with support for up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU.

Alienware m15 R7 Features and Specs

The Alienware m15 R7 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor which features 8 core and 16 threads, with a boost clock of up to 4.7 GHz. It is optimised with up to 170W TDP. The laptop has two variants: One with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 6GB GPU, and the other with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GPU. The laptop comes equipped with either 512GB or 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage, depending on the variant. Both variants come with 16GB DDR5 RAM.

The Alienware m15 R7 has a Type-C USB4 port on the back, which allows gamers to connect to external GPU cabinets, external drives, and full-featured docks and monitors. It also uses Cryo-Tech cooling technologies with five custom power state settings: Full Speed – max power, Performance mode – graphics priority, Balanced mode – balanced CPU/GPU, Battery saver mode, and Quiet mode – acoustics priority. The company says that the cooling ensure all sensors drive airflow where needed and as desired by the user, via the Alienware Command Center software. Dell also claims that the m15 R7 delivers up to 1.3x more airflow with an 87% improvement in internal airflow obstruction.

The Alienware 15 R7 supports both Nvidia G-Sync and Advanced Optimus technologies. The 15.6 inch 165Hz FHD display of the laptop is Dolby Vision-certified as well, paired with Dolby Atmos for a superior audio experience. The display is integrated with ComfortView Plus low blue light technology that offers hardware-based protection to reduce stress on the eyes with little to no impact on the visuals. The laptop also offers a 1.8mm key travel spanning a per-key RGB AlienFX backlit keyboard, which, again, can be customised via the Alienware Command Center.
