Demon Slayer Anime Introduces Character That Uses Guns

The Demon Slayer anime has introduced a new character, Genya, who uses guns to fight against demons.

Demon Slayer is set in the Taisho era of Japan, and the anime heavily uses swords as a primary weapon to thwart off demons. The swords in the show are, of course, infused with powers and specially made to fight against demons, and they are used by the Demon Slayer Corps.

However, the introduction of a Genya who uses guns as his primary weapon is something that is fresh to the series. This introduces a new perspective to the fighting style of the Demon Slayer Corps and adds an element of diversity in the combat that we would get to see in the anime.

Genya also has a unique ability to consume the flesh of demons, using which he can absorb the powers of these demons. This combination of using guns and having demon-like powers makes Genya a strong character in the series.

Also, just like the swords, Genya’s gun is not a regular one. It has the ability to weaken the demons temporarily once hit by his bullets.
