Destiny 2 Fans Think Savathun Is Cheating as Hive Guardians Have Non-Existent Super and Grenade Cooldown Timers

Along with the fair share of new abilities and weapons for Destiny 2 players, the recent Witch Queen expansion sees a much broader campaign for series villain, Savathun.

After the Worm was removed from her body, The Witch Queen is now back in power, and she’s causing mayhem along with her new Hive Guardians that have access to the Light.

Using the same abilities that players have used against opponents for years, the Destiny 2 community have had their hands full against them ever since the update dropped yesterday, and it seems like some of them are too powerful for them to handle.

In a recent Reddit post on the r/DestinyTheGame, many community members noted how they were met with a barrage of grenades all the time.

Hive guardians are giving us a run for out money.

While players particularly didn’t hate that the Hive Guardians had abilities as good as the ones they have used, they did have an issue over the fact these creates had little to no cooldown timer, which caused Guardians to be bombarded with strong attacks all the time.

Players especially had issues with the Hunter variants, which feels awkward to say for most players as Hunters have never been part of the meta in Destiny 2 PvE. However, the Hive Guardian version is a pain to handle, and players want the developers at Bungie to consider a nerf.

With the update releasing yesterday, fans can expect to see some tweaks in the upcoming weeks from the developers as they fine tune the game’s content addition. Along with many bug fixes, it remains to be seen if Bungie will consider a slight nerf for the new enemy horde, and it will be interesting to see how that will play out in the future.
