Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Unlock Vanellope

Disney Dreamlight Valley is all about letting you interact with beloved Disney characters, and fans of Wreck-It Ralph will definitely want to be sure they invite Vanellope to their valley, especially since she comes bearing plenty of fun, candy-themed items. Here’s how to unlock everyone’s favorite little glitch.

How to unlock Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To invite Vanellope to your valley, you’ll first need to speak with Scrooge McDuck in his shop and take on the “Haunting of Dreamlight Valley” quest. Afterward, head inside the Dream Castle and make your way to the top of the stairs inside where you’ll find Vanellope standing by the fountain.

Speak to Vanellope and begin the “Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust” quest. This will task you with heading outside and snapping a picture to share via DreamSnaps. Be sure you get a good picture, then share it by pressing the corresponding button (for instance, R2 on PlayStation consoles).

After sharing your DreamSnap photo, head back and speak with Vanellope. She’ll give you her house to place in the valley, so pick a spot to put it, then interact with the sign on the front of the construction area to speak with Scrooge. Pay him 4,000 coins to build Vanellope’s house, then speak with her once more to welcome her to the valley.

When you get Vanellope to friendship level 4, be sure to check out our “Ready Player Fun” quest guide. For more on Dreamlight Valley, head over to our comprehensive guides hub.
