There’s a fun little promotion available in the run-up to the Christmas party season that’s offering the chance to swap your boring old coffee machine for a pub-style beer tap instead. It can even be controlled via an app allowing you to see exactly how much booze is left inside the changeable 6-litre kegs that slot inside plus there’s a display on the front which shows just how cold things are inside.
To give it a go, you simply need to visit the firm’s website here and fill in your details before November 16, 2022. Winners will then be sent a free device along with a keg of tasty lager.
The deal launched after Jeremy Clarkson, posted a clip on his social media channels claiming that millions had been duped into buying a coffee machine by George Clooney. The Hollywood legend is the face of Nespresso and has helped the brand become a top seller across the globe.
“Over the years, hundreds or thousands, if not millions, of people have been duped by George Clooney into believing they need one of these coffee machines in their kitchen. What you actually need is one of these, a machine that can deliver perfectly chilled draft Hawkstone lager,” said Clarkson to his millions of followers.
Now The Grand Tour presenter is suggesting that we’d all be better off with a beer tap instead with these machines pumping out cold, draft beer instead of a hot espresso.
The post was also aimed at promoting his own Hawkstone brew but with Christmas and New Year just around the corner, there are sure to be plenty of people who don’t disagree.
