Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge Anime Film to Air on Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network has announced that it will air the Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge anime film on Sunday, April 23 at 12:15 PM on the channel.
This comes after the channel started airing Dragon Ball Z Kai from April 16 in five dubbed languages. The announcement was first made at Mumbai Comic Con in February, and fans had been anticipating the arrival of the anime on Cartoon Network.

What is Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge about
Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge is the fifth Dragon Ball Z film (eight overall Dragon Ball film), and it came out in Japan in 1991. This is a non-canon Dragon Ball Z film, which means it is not heavily related to the main storyline of the show. The events in Cooler’s Revenge take place after the Frieza Saga, which lasts from episodes 36 to 54 in Dragon Ball Z Kai.
The story of the film follows Cooler, who is the elder brother of Frieza. After learning that Goku was responsible for his brother’s defeat on planet Namek, he sets out for revenge.
Cooler arrives on Earth with his army of robots, and Goku, along with his friends, must defend the planet from Cooler’s invasion.
