Dream job ALERT: Get paid to lounge around playing games all day
If you want to earn some money while playing video games, then we may have just the job for you.
GreatBeanBags is looking to hire somebody to test its range of luxury seating accessories.
Successful candidates will get paid £250 for a day of lounging around while playing their favourite video games.
You’ll be sent four bean bags to test out over a period of 8-hours of gaming.
After putting each bean bag through its paces, you’ll need to score the bean bags on a range of different criteria.
You’ll be evaluating how comfortable each bean bag is, how practical they are, and how durable.
According to the retailer, the highest scoring bean bag will be granted the “gamer approved” badge on site.
In addition to the £250 payment, the successful candidate will also get to keep the bean bag.
GreatBeanBags director Patrick Tonks said: “Gaming requires a lot of concentration, particularly when playing as a team, and who can concentrate when they are uncomfortable?
“We know our bean bags are comfy for sitting but how do they hold out during long sessions of gaming?
“We are looking for someone that is a regular gamer to put our gaming bean bags to the test during long stints of gameplay, ensuring we are giving gamers the best seating for their battles, adventures, raids and races.”
Interested parties have until February 14 to apply for the dream job. Simply email the website with your details at this link.
If you do apply, send the company your name and age, alongside your console of choice and the game you’re currently playing.
You’ll have seven days to respond to the offer if you are selected, and must be prepared to take photos during the testing period.
If you’re interested in the job and need some game recommendations, then you can’t go wrong with the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection.
Out now on PS5, the game features copies of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the excellent Lost Legacy.
Users have the option to play at 120 frames-per-second and 1080p, or in 4K at 30 FPS. That’s on top of DualSense controller support for increased immersion.
