Drishyam 2 plot (no spoilers)
Drishyam 2 Hindi is the sequel to the original Malayalam movie Drishyam which was released in 2013.
The movie starts from where part one left the audience i.e., the mysterious night of October 3rd, 2014. This time it covers the story of David Braganza, a murder accused, who was running from the police and in that process saw Vijay (Ajay Devgn) coming out from the police station which was under construction at that time. Cut to seven years later, when Vijay Salgaonkar has started living a normal life, owning the same Mirage Cable Network, but is now also the owner of a movie theatre and aspiring film producer. Appointment of a new IG Tarun Ahlawat, friend of former IG Meera Deshmukh (Tabu), brings another twist to the movie. The film then showcases a revived investigation of the Salgaonkar family in connection to the murder of former IG Meera Deshmukh’s son and revolves around one simple question: Can Vijay Salgaonkar protect his family this time?
