EA announces Fifa 22: Here’s what’s new – Times of India

Fifa lovers, the next installment in Electronics Arts Fifa games has been announced as ‘Fifa 22’.
Kylian Mbappé, who shot to worldwide fame with his exploits in the 2020 Football World Cup, will be the cover star of the game, once again.
The game will launch on October 1 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC and Stadia.On PC, you will also be able to purchase the game through Origin and Steam. The Nintendo Switch isn’t being left behind and EA will bring a “Legacy Edition” for the gaming console.
What’s new: HyperMotion technology
The HyperMotion technology. Yes, this is what machine learning and the 11v11 match capture employed in the latest version of the game has been named as. The company says that it has performed motion capture on 22 professional footballers and used machine learning from over 8.7 million frames to create animations in real time. As per EA Sports, the tech would help bring the “most realistic and immersive gameplay experience to life, in every match and across every mode.” HyperMotion will only be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
