There is no need to overcomplicate your daily fantasy football decision making for the first contest on Sunday’s three-game wild-card slate.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady should be considered as the top option at quarterback because of his lengthy postseason resume.

Brady elevates his game to a high level when the playoffs roll around and he has two primary targets that can wreak havoc on the Philadelphia Eagles defense.

Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski should be used at a high volume in the passing game as the NFC South side looks to avoid a second straight close wild-card contest versus a NFC East side.

Philadelphia could remain close with the Bucs if it executes its league-leading rushing attack to perfection. The Eagles get Miles Sanders back from a hand injury on Sunday. He should be the top running back to choose from the NFC clash since Tampa Bay is dealing with injuries at the position.

Jalen Hurts is an intriguing DFS roster addition because of his dual-threat ability, but he may not keep up with Brady’s production in the aerial game given how both teams opt to attack opposing defenses.

    QB Tom Brady

Tom Brady is the most successful postseason participant across the NFL.

The reigning Super Bowl champion turned in four multi-score performances on his way to the title last season.

That was Brady’s most successful passing postseason since the 2018 campaign, when he lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.

Brady hurt the Eagles secondary for 297 yards and a pair of scores in the Week 6 win over the NFC East side in Philadelphia.

Brady did most of his damage during a first-half barrage. The Eagles needed two second-half scores to get within one possession.

The legendary quarterback attempted 87 passes and threw for six touchdowns in the last two weeks. Those numbers should terrify the Eagles defense and excite DFS players looking to build a Tampa Bay lineup stack.

    TE Rob Gronkowski

Rob Gronkowski is the safer option to pair with Brady in a lineup stack.

Mike Evans could face a tough individual matchup versus Darius Slay and the Eagles are one of the worst teams defending tight ends in the NFL.

Philadelphia conceded nine receptions to O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate in the Week 6 clash that Gronkowski missed due to an injury.

Gronkowski enters the postseason in the best possible form, as he turned in back-to-back 100-yard games to close out the regular season.

Brady and Gronkowski have hooked up plenty of times in postseason contests, and we should see the two work well together in an attempt to open up an early double-digit advantage on the NFC East squad.

    RB Miles Sanders

Philadelphia’s midseason shift to a run-heavy offense paid off with a wild-card berth that was clinched in Week 17.

Miles Sanders was at the forefront of that rushing attack when he was healthy. He recorded over 15 carries three times after Week 10. He had two 100-yard performances during that span.

Sanders will receive a high volume of carries in his return from a hand injury on Sunday, but there is one concern that is attached to him.

Sanders did not score a touchdown in the regular season. Boston Scott, Jordan Howard and Jalen Hurts handled the scoring responsibilities on the ground.

Philadelphia’s No. 1 running back is still worth the DFS lineup selection, but he may not reach his full scoring potential if he fails to find the end zone.

    QB Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts should be viewed as an under-the-radar selection at quarterback.

Hurts resides in the bottom half of options at the position on Sunday’s slate, but he could produce some decent numbers.

He had three total touchdowns in the Week 6 loss to Tampa Bay and he had four multi-score performances through the air on the road in the regular season.

Philadelphia needs Hurts to be at his best in passing situations to avoid turnovers that set up Tampa Bay with a short field.

Hurts threw seven interceptions away from Philadelphia. That could be a red flag for DFS players looking to get the best out of the quarterback spot.

Hurts comes with some flaws, but there is potential for him to thrive in both aspects of the offenses and that makes him an intriguing contrarian play to Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott.

    WR Scotty Miller

Scotty Miller put up minuscule totals in the regular season, but that could change on Sunday.

Tampa Bay is without Chris Godwin and Cyril Grayson at wide receiver and Mike Evans could have too much attention centered on him.

Miller scored his lone postseason touchdown in the NFC Championship Game last season. He had four catches on six targets during the Super Bowl run.

Miller’s lack of consistent production makes him one of the riskiest DFS players on Sunday’s slate, but he could be worth the payoff.

Brady has trust in Miller from last season’s postseason run and all it takes is one touchdown, like he had in Green Bay, to make the risk worth it.

    WR Quez Watkins

Quez Watkins consistently earned targets behind DeVonta Smith in the Eagles passing attack.

Watkins caught three or more passes on eight occasions. He had at least 40 receiving yards in seven contests.

Watkins gained some confidence in Week 18 working with Gardner Minshew, as he brought in five catches and scored his first touchdown of the season.

The Philadelphia wide out is not a major touchdown threat, but he could come up with a few receptions and one or two big plays that make his roster spot worth it.

If anything, Watkins could be used as a low-salary option at the position among a lineup that has higher-salaried players from Dallas, Kansas City or Tampa Bay.
