eBaseball: Power Pros now available on PS4 and Switch

Global baseball aficionados can finally experience the excitement of Konami’s cutesy release WSBC eBaseball: Power Pros, which is now available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. This release — announced during last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation — marks the official debut of the long-running franchise on the international stage for the first time since its 1994 inception.

eBaseball: Power Pros, officially recognized by The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WSBC) is a scaled-down version of the classic sport, featuring simple-to-learn controls, adorable chibi characters, and a huge roster of 300 characters. Form your team, take to the diamond, and become the most famous baseball team on the planet.

Alternately, multiplayer support allows for up to four players to team up for online and offline action, battering up for some friendly competition, or entering online tournaments via the new Championship Mode. Wade through the statistics of the title’s mammoth roster to ensure that you synergize the best pitchers, catchers, batters, and backstops in the business. For such a tiny title, WSBC eBaseball: Power Pros looks to have a pretty big personality.

Best of all, it will cost interested parties very little to get in on the action. WSBC eBaseball: Power Pros is currently available from PSN and the Nintendo eShop for a single dollar (though some global markets will have to abide by their territory’s “minimum pricing” laws).
