Elden Ring: Players Died More Than 900 Crore Times in the Game, a Figure 6 Times More Than the Population of India

Elden Ring, the game of the year of 2022, has recently completed its first anniversary. To celebrate this occasion, FromSoftware has released a Battle Scars Infographic that provides stats that include what transpired for the players in The Lands Between and stats on Elden Ring’s most iconic and challenging bosses.

Top 5 Boss Attempts

In total, players have attempted boss battles around 5.9 billion times in the past year. The most number of boss battle initiations has been against the game’s most famous boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella at 329 million times. Next is Margit The Fell Omen at 281 million times, at the third spot comes Limgrave Tree Sentinel which is 277 million times. For the last two, we have Radagon of the Golden Order and Starcourge Radahn, with 148 million and 139 million boss attempts respectively.

Causes of Death

Readers should know that players have died more than 9 billion times in the game, which is a little bit over the entire world’s population. Out of the 9 billion, 2% have been killed by another player, 14% of them have fallen to their deaths, 15% have been brought down by status effects and a staggering 69% have been bested by enemies and NPCs.

Summons

Summons is how you play co-op in Elden Ring, whether it be together or against each other. There have been more than 1 billion summons in the game, out of which 88% have been a call for help against boss battles or dungeons and 12% of them have been invading players.

Spells cast

As players already know, Elden Ring gives players the option to build their characters, and most types of characters are magic wielders too. Out of the huge number of spells the game provides to the players, these are the most used spells starting from the highest; Rock Sling, Crystal Torrent, Glintstone Pebble, Greatblade Phalanx and Rotten Breath.

Incantations

Elden Ring’s world also has a huge range of incantations that can be acquired for additional stats. The top 5 most acquired incantations are the following; Blessing of the Erdtree, Bestial Sling, Golden Vow, The Flame of Frenzy and Bestial Vitality.

For those do not know, LetMeSoloHer is a living legend in the Elden Ring community. He is renowned for his underwear and pot attire in the game, and first reached fame when he helped out another player defeat the infamous Malenia in the same iconic attire. He has made such a big impact on the community that Bandai Namco personally congratulated the player with a custom sword.

According to a recent report by Kotaku, it seems that LetMeSoloHer has found his next challenge and Malenia will not be forgotten anytime soon. He will be trying to complete Elden Ring with a twist, this time around every enemy he faces will be none other than the Blade of Miquella, Malenia. The outfit remains the same, but the challenge is incredibly difficult, players will just have to be patient to see if LetMeSoloHer succeeds in this mountain of a task.
