Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg might be up for a cage fight – Times of India
Musk challenged Zuckerberg in a physical fight, and it seems like Zuckerberg is ready to accept the challenge. Musk suggested a “cage match” on Tuesday night, to which Zuckerberg responded with just three words on his Instagram Story on Wednesday night, “Send Me Location.”
On Tuesday, a tweet about Facebook possibly creating a rival to Twitter upset Elon Musk. He replied, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment.”
Another Twitter user warned Musk to be careful, saying that Zuckerberg is skilled at fighting back. In response, Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match, which might have been a joke. But, then Zuckerberg was quick enough to ask for the location.
Though Zuckerberg’s story on Instagram does not seem to be a joke. “The story speaks for itself,” Meta spokesperson Iska Saric told The Verge.
Musk tweeted, “If this is for real, I will do it” to a screenshot of Zuckerberg’s story. He later tweeted, “Vegas Octagon,” which seems to be the location. “I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus’, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing,” Musk also tweeted.
Earlier this month, Zuckerberg shared pictures from his jiu-jitsu tournament on Instagram. He also announced that he won some medals, including a gold and silver one.
Whether the fight happens or not, Musk definitely has a strong opponent in front of him. While Musk does not have professional fighting experience, he once said that “I’ve been in real hard-core street fights,” though he did confess to being beaten up a lot.
