Elon Musk confirms his book is being written by Steve Jobs’ biographer – Times of India
Musk made this — and other — revelation about the book in a series of tweets. “If you’re curious about Tesla, SpaceX & my general goings on, @WalterIsaacson is writing a biography,” Musk revealed in a tweet. He also revealed that Isaacson has “shadowed me for several days so far.”

The Tesla CEO said that he liked the biographies written by Isaacson but the one he particularly liked was on Ben Franklin, one of the founding fathers of America.
Musk also said that he still might write a book on his own.
As far as Isaccson is concerned, he has a rich body of work. His biography on Jobs is perhaps the most well-known book on the Apple co-founder. The book was published a couple of weeks after Jobs died in 2011. Apart from that, he has also written biographies of Albert Einstein.
The Musk book won’t be the first “authorised” by the Tesla CEO. He already has one official biography titled “Elon Musk: How The Billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is Shaping Our Future” written by Ashley Vance. The book was published in 2015 and Musk had given several interviews to Vance for it. However, that was before Tesla hit new heights and became the most valuable car company in the world. Or before Musk was the richest man — for a short period of time — in the world. There’s no timeline of when the book will actually be published as Musk didn’t mention anything about it in his tweets.
