England report Kamil Glik incident to the FA after ugly scenes vs Poland at half-time

Harry Kane has revealed that an incident involving England defender Harry Maguire and Poland’s Kamil Glik has been reported to the Football Association. Maguire and Glik were both booked by referee Daniel Siebert as the teams headed in for half-time following a lacklustre first half.

Manchester United defender Maguire was seen furiously gesticulating to the Poland international in the immediate aftermath of Siebert blowing his whistle to end the opening period.

The cameras had initially panned to show the crowd, as is the norm at the start of half-time.

But they soon diverted the broadcast back to the pitch where a brawl had started.

Kane could be seen trying to drag Maguire away from Glik, while substitute Kieran Trippier was also trying to calm down his team-mates.

Players from both teams were shown pushing each other as tensions continued to spill over in Warsaw.

The Three Lions captain told BBC Radio 5 Live: “There was an incident just before half-time which has been reported to the FA guys. They’re taking care of it and investigating it and we’ll go from there.

“Allegedly it was something that was done, not said. We haven’t chance to look at the footage and talk to the lad.”
