Esports: Philips India Launches Its BGMI Team ‘OneBlade’ Though It Is More of a Rebrand

Philips India has now entered Indian Esports as sponsors of R-Esports’ BGMI roster. The brand announced its own BGMI Esports team titled OneBlade, on July 4th, 2023. This was on the occasion of their latest product launch, the Philips OneBlade QP1424.

Philips India launches new BGMI roster with R Esports

R Esports will now represent Philips India in all upcoming BGMI events starting now, till October 1st, 2023. They will be sporting T-shirts featuring the brand logo and the tagline “Move Fearlessly”. The official press release for the announcement that IGN India received, mentions that the tagline “reflects the synergy between Philips OneBlade’s dedication to providing a No Nicks, No Cuts grooming experience and the team’s playstyle in the competitive BGMI E-Sports tournaments”.

Here are the roster members

The OneBlade team now comprises of R-Esports members Abhinav Kumar, Harshit Kashyap, Dev Sapra, Badal Kumar Behara, Almaz Rahman, and Akhand Pratap Singh. Speaking about the collaboration with Philips OneBlade, Abhinav “Hero” Kumar, who is also the in-game leader of the team said,

“We are very honored and excited to be associated with Philips OneBlade and together with them, will Move Fearlessly towards our goal of becoming the best.”

According to the announcement, team OneBlade is now gearing up to participate in the upcoming BGMI Master Series tournament. Philips was the official styling partner at the previous edition of the Nodwin Valorant Challengers tournament.
