Chris Eubank Jr has offered Jake Paul the chance to fight him this weekend, as the English boxing star took yet another dig at his rival Conor Benn. Eubank Jr was all set to fight Benn this weekend in London, recreating the famous rivalry shared between their famous fathers.
However, the fight was cancelled on Thursday after it emerged that Benn failed a drugs test – showing an adverse findings for traces of clomifene, a fertility drug that can also boost testosterone levels.
On Thursday afternoon, the clash was finally confirmed as cancelled after the British Boxing Board of Control ordered the fight to be off off, despite it being set to take place in just 48 hours. Following the cancellation of his opponent, Eubank Jr still seemed keen to fight, offering YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul the chance to meet in the ring.
Paul himself has made no secret of his desire to take on the Englishman, and now Eubank Jr has offered him the chance – albeit with little time to prepare. The YouTube star took to Twitter to have his say on the cancellation, labelling the situation a ‘fiasco’.

The 33-year-old was required to drop to a career-low weight in order to take on Benn, something his fierce rival often reiterated he would be unable to do. Throughout the build-up, Eubank Jr has repeatedly poked fun at Benn’s claims, sharing a number of pictures and videos of him indulging despite his need to drop.
And on the night of the bout’s cancellation the British fighter was at it again on Instagram once more. Due to the weight cut, Eubank Jr claimed he could only be at 60% of his best to beat Benn due to the weight cut. Taking to Twitter, the 33-year-old seemingly mocked this and his weight worries, sharing a photo of a chocolate cake dessert with ‘61%’ included on the plate with chocolate sauce.
