Realme 9 and 9 Pro India launch

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed the launch of Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro series in India. In our exclusive interview, he also reveals that the Realme 9 Pro series will be priced above Rs 15,000. Both Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ will offer 5G connectivity, great bang for buck performance, and an eye-catching design. Furthermore, he also teased the launch of the Realme 9 Pro series on Twitter by asking users to vote on which of the two phones will be coming to India soon.

“We will launch Realme 9 and 9 Pro in India soon to provide our users with

leap-forward performance and trendsetting design at a reasonable price. That’s why our Realme 9 Pro series will be above Rs 15,000 and all 5G-enabled. We are confident that our users will not be disappointed,” Madhav Sheth told 91mobiles.

The Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ have appeared on various certifications websites, including BIS, which confirms that the phones are launching in India soon. We’ve also seen renders of the Realme 9 Pro, which revealed a triple rear camera setup and a hole-punch cutout display. The Realme 9 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, and come with a 6.59-inch OLED 120Hz display. It will reportedly feature a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup, and house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Moving on to the Realme 9 Pro+, this smartphone will offer similar features such as the vanilla Pro variant, but could additionally come with 65W fast charging support, better rear cameras, and a larger display. We’ll have to wait to find out more. There’s not a lot of information available on the Realme 9 for now, but that should be revealed in the coming weeks.
